Bardiya National Park is the biggest national park of flatland Terai region of Nepal. Travelers will have to take a flight to Nepalgunj and should take a drive of about 2 hours to reach the Bardiya National Park. The park is the second national park of Nepal having the number of Tiger population after Chitwan National Park. The Bardiya Jungle Safari Tour is divided into different phase like jungle safari, bird watching and local ethnic community village exploration. The park is extended up to 968 sq. kilo meters and mostly has subtropical deciduous forests. Wildlife of different species is found inside the park. Dark buck, eland, deer, wild elephant, river dolphin, one horned rhino, wild buffaloes etc. are found including Royal Bengal Tiger. Varieties of local and migrating birds are also found in the park. 30 Warm blooded creatures, 230 animals, few reptiles and varieties of fresh water fish are recorded in Park. High level people like Prince Harry too visited the place back in 2016.
